1.      Rajendra Prasad (Born: December 3, 1884, Ziradei - Died: February 28, 1963, Patna). Spouse: Rajvanshi Devi (m. ?–1962). He was the first President of the Republic of India, an Indian political leader and lawyer by training. Succeeded by: Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan
2.      Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan (September 5, 1888, Thiruttani - April 17, 1975, Chennai). He was an Indian philosopher and statesman who was the first Vice President of India and the second President of India from 1962 to 1967. Succeeded by: Zakir Husain
3.      Zakir Husain (February 8, 1897, Hyderabad - May 3, 1969, New Delhi). He was the third President of India, from 13 May 1967 until his death on 3 May 1969. An educator and intellectual, Husain was the country's first Muslim president, and also the first to die in office.

13.  Pranab Kumar Mukherjee (Born: December 11, 1935 (age 80), Mirati - ???) Spouse: Suvra Mukherjee (m. 1957–2015). He is the thirteenth and current President of India, in office since July 2012. In a political career spanning six decades, Mukherjee was a senior leader of the Indian National Congress. Preceded by: Pratibha Patil

16.  Mohammad Hamid Ansari (April 1, 1937 (age 78), Kolkata - ???) Spouse: Salma Ansari. He is the 12th Vice President of India, in office since 2007. Ansari is the only person to get re-elected for the post of Vice President of India after Dr. Radhakrishnan.
