The Gazal maestro Jagjit Singh started singing with his future wife Chitra in album ‘Unforgettables’ which opened the doors of success for them. He was awarded with Padma Bhushan, Sahitya Academy Award, Dayawati Moti Award, Lata Mangeshkar Samman, Teacher’s Lifetime Award and many more. 

Lata Mangeshkar has sung in more than 20 languages. Lata started her career "Aayega Aanewaala" for the movie Mahal. In1974, she has recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records and in 2001, she has conferred with - Bharat Ratna award.

Gulzar is a great Lyricist, Script writer and director. He was awarded the Padma Bhushan and the Sahitya Academy Award. In 2009, he won the Academy Award for Best Original Song for "Jai Ho". In 2010, the same song won him a Grammy Award for Best Song Written for a Motion Picture.

Saroj Khan was a toddler when she first acted in a movie, Tarana. She choreographed for Main Tere Dushman from Nagina. She bagged 2 National Film Awards and 8 Film fare Awards for Best Choreography. She also won the American Choreography Award for Lagaan.

Aishwarya Rai's debut film was "Iruvar" directed by Mani Ratnam and "Aur Pyar Ho Gaya" directed by Rahul Rawail. She has won Miss photogenic and Miss World Title at London, Femina Miss India World Title and also best actress for "Jeans", "Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam" and “Devdas".

Richard Gere, the famous Hollywood actor has H.H. Dalai Lama as his spiritual guru. He came to prominence in 1980 for his role in the film American Gigolo, which established him as a leading man and a sex symbol. He won a Golden Globe Award as Best Actor, as well as a Screen Actors Guild Award.

Kathryn Ann Bigelow became the first woman to win the Academy Award for Best Director, the Directors Guild of America Award for Outstanding Directing, the BAFTA Award and the Critics' Choice Award for Best Director.
